A BOOTH WITH A SEA OF COLOURS
A partition decorated with colourful aquatic images from the imagination of artist Silvio Irilli was donated by the ProTin Onlus association to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Sant'Anna Hospital in San Fermo della Battaglia (Como).
We would like to thank ProTin Odv for the proximity and generosity they always show towards the neonatal intensive care unit of Sant'Anna hospital," says Matteo Soccio, health director, on behalf of the entire management of Asst Lariana. "And thanks to the artist Silvio Irilli, whose work will bring a little more colour to our department.
"The separé is a useful tool for organising the ward and ensuring privacy, but at the same time it can bring a smile to the faces of the parents of newborn babies in the intensive care unit, whether they were born preterm or for other reasons, and of the health workers who care for them, making the environment more welcoming and comfortable.
SILVIO IRILLI ( Artist and Founder of Painted Hospitals )
We are delighted to have donated this partition, decorated in the colours of the sea by master Silvio Irilli, to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Sant'Anna Hospital in San Fermo della Battaglia, directed by Dr. Mario Barbarini," say the representatives of the ProTin Onlus Board. "We hope that, at such a difficult time, it can be useful in ensuring a space dedicated to moments of intervention, but also of intimacy and discretion, for families and their child in the NICU.
